Wedding at Château de Montgobert: a majestic setting for a special day

Wedding reception in the courtyard of a Paris castle. A marquee as an extension of the castle Mid-September. Summer was not yet over and yet the cold invited itself to the wedding celebrated at the Château de Montgobert, at the foot of the Retz forest, less than an hour from Paris. Fortunately, Atawa was there to shelter and warm up the happy guests… A masterful wedding in an imperial castle and not just any one! Montgobert was none other than the home of Pauline Bonaparte, the sister of Napoleon I... Respect. On September 16, the 18th century stones vibrated to the rhythm of the music and the cheerful voices of the 180 guests. The idea? Install an extension to the reception room in the courtyard, as if nothing had happened, or almost nothing.

Wedding reception in the courtyard of a château Paris

Mid-September. Summer was not yet over and yet the cold weather invited itself to the wedding celebrated at the Château de Montgobert, at the foot of the Retz forest, less than an hour from Paris.
Fortunately, Atawa was there to shelter and warm up the happy guests... A masterly wedding in an imperial castle, and not just any castle! Montgobert was none other than the residence of Pauline Bonaparte, Napoleon I's sister... Respect. On 16 September, the 18th century stones vibrated to the rhythm of the music and the cheerful voices of the 180 guests.

A marquee as an extension of the castle

The idea? To install an extension to the reception hall in the courtyard, as if nothing had happened. A marquee as a new part of the castle. The guests enjoyed the cocktail party outside and inside the sublime residence before taking refuge for dinner in the large heated 210 m2 tent. A crystal surround to keep an eye on the stars. A large varnished spruce floor to make the pumps and other beautiful ceremonial shoes dance. And to light all this? Atawa had installed luxury chandeliers and spotlights at the foot of the poles... nothing is too good!

Atawa, a professional service that makes gifts

Atawa adapted, providing a structure that blended in perfectly with the environment. They also added heating at the last minute, concerned about the comfort of the guests in this chilly September... The icing on the cake at the castle? Atawa offered the newlyweds photos taken by a drone flying over the sublime property...
