Wedding on a Parisian terrace
Immerse yourself in the heart of the event by viewing the virtual visit
On May 8th, in Puteaux, at the gates of Paris, a wedding was celebrated entirely in a charming house with a warm and welcoming garden. Atawa was the bold and innovative architect. From the religious ceremony to the last bite of the cake, everything was celebrated on site and in small groups. 60 guests were invited to come and celebrate this "home-made" wedding.
An ephemeral structure covering the terrace
Atawa has once again excelled in its pragmatism and adaptability. Rather than placing unsightly and impractical tents next to each other, the clever and skilful team installed a deck structure that allows the entire terrace to be occupied in one space. A bespoke, ephemeral 75m2 structure included a floor covered with a pretty, skirted carpet. Four days before the big day, Atawa adapted to the weather, swapping the potentially stuffy crystal canopy for a matching veil that provided fresh air and lightness. The decks were covered in ivy, as if nature was taking over the structure's urbanism... All of this was enhanced by independent LED spotlights scattered at their feet.
A chic and elegant Parisian reception
The decked structure housing the entire terrace allowed for three areas to be formed. Firstly, the ceremony area, with elegant white chairs arranged in an assembly. Once the vows were taken, to celebrate in style, the guests moved to the refreshment area, lulled by the music of the lively band.
After the champagne, it was time for the big lunch, around the six round tables decorated with flowers and crystal glasses in the dining room area.
A wedding from A to Z, on the spot and made to measure, unique and authentic. A new challenge for Atawa, successfully completed...
