At the very beginning of the preparations for their wedding, the bride and groom had expressed their wish to celebrate their union in Corsica. However, due to the health crisis and all the restrictions it caused, they considered it more prudent to review their project.
Thanks to the support of their wedding planner, Alexia Cramer, and the advice and expertise of Atawa, they decided to organize their big day at the parents' house, a stone's throw from Lausanne, in the heart of French-speaking Switzerland.

A refined marriage despite an uncertain context

As the measures taken to fight against covid continue to evolve, organizing weddings in the canton of Vaud has become a real adventure! Would private events be allowed? Would the number of people be limited?
With 1 month to go until D-Day, scheduled for July 2021, no one knew if the wedding could take place.
With more than 200 people invited to the family estate, this marriage was in danger of undergoing some last-minute changes.
Adaptability and reactivity were therefore the key words at Atawa, to be able to offer the bride and groom the day of their dreams during this turbulent period.

Rental of a tailor-made tent in Savigny

To set up an enchanting setting in a garden, you must know how to prepare for all eventualities. Especially when the terrain is only accessible on foot! Indeed, no truck or cart could access the place planned for the party, in order to bring all the equipment there.
Thus, over more than 100 m, the Atawa teams went back and forth to unload and transport all the equipment necessary to make this wedding in Switzerland an exceptional day.
The installation of the tent and the installation of the floor were also subject to some hazards. The trees on the land, as well as the romantic and imposing metal kiosk in the middle, complicated the realization of the project.
The time to set up the tent was also extended. But the dazzled eyes of the guests at the end result were worth it!

An outdoor space designed to share magical moments

Eager to celebrate their wedding outside, in the midst of a health crisis and in a garden full of trees, the bride and groom called on the experience of Atawa to meet the challenge.
This memorable day began with the ceremony, also organized outside, and followed by a cocktail. If the sky had not been so nice, everyone could have taken refuge under the 448 m2 silhouette tent, nestled between the trees and planned for dinner and the evening.
It was under this tent that the floor was set up to receive the whole assembly. Covered with a skirt, this wooden floor was cut in places in order to integrate the trees and the kiosk, decorative elements that were already present and that had to be dealt with.

Careful decoration and a warm atmosphere

448 m2 is a nice volume to accommodate the various spaces imagined by the bride and groom, and furnished by Atawa, during this big wedding in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
On a stage designed on 2 levels, the musicians ensured the musical atmosphere day and night, with the dance floor part.
As for the open bar and the lounge area, they also made an impact in this elegant reception area, which is both original and friendly.
Would a few drops of rain have settled during the aperitif? The stand-up tables even had their own dedicated space under the tent to welcome guests!
For dinner, comfortably seated on beautiful wooden chairs, guests gathered around round tables, decorated with soft fabrics, delicate country bouquets and elegant tableware.
Near them, the meal buffets provided them with delicious dishes, prepared in the 72 m2 silhouette tent in the catering office.
Under the starry sky fixed all along the tent, enveloped by this bucolic and refined atmosphere, the 212 guests shared emotional moments, far from the hassles caused by covid a few weeks earlier!

A perfect day for a beautiful wedding in the canton of Vaud

Despite the vagaries of the pandemic, Atawa knew how to find the means to achieve the wedding dreamed of by the bride and groom. Accompanied by Alexia Cramer in carrying out this project, as well as by the company Options for furniture and tableware, Atawa was able to face all the technical constraints imposed by this unusual space.
By designing a tailor-made structure, the elements of the garden were able to be harmoniously integrated into the decoration. The size of the tent has also been revised, in order to be able to slip between the trees in the field. With a clever plan, the space below was able to be optimized and accommodate all the guests. Access difficulties and the altitude difference in the terrain were also solved, under the watchful eye of the Atawa coordinator who was present from start to finish.
That day, the newlyweds were able to fully enjoy their loved ones without worrying about the organization, which was perfectly managed beforehand.
A real force for proposals, Atawa was able to meet the needs of these lovers in the face of a sometimes complex situation. Everything was ready so that those present only had to savor these precious moments, during this elegant and enchanting wedding in the canton of Vaud in French-speaking Switzerland!
