Franco-Lebanese wedding at the Château de Villiers-le-Bâcle: a multicultural union

An original marriage between French and Lebanese traditions

A look back at a private reception between two cultures and traditions. The lovers living abroad, in the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, we accompanied them from a distance in the organization of one of the most beautiful days of their lives! Discover the Franco-Lebanese wedding of Raissa and Eddy which took place at the Château de Villiers le Bacle.

Organising a long-distance wedding

Some couples may wish to get married in a country other than the one in which they reside. This was the case for Raissa and Eddy, who wished to celebrate their Franco-Oriental wedding in France rather than in their home town. Both in Dubai, they did not have the possibility to come and meet us directly. This is why the 3D simulations were a great help in our preparation of this reception.
In order for the event to run smoothly, we went to the venue chosen by the bride and groom: the château de Villiers le Bacle. This French château, which is a listed historical monument, dates back to the time of Louis XIII and offered an exceptional setting for a chic and romantic reception.

We studied the reception venue by visiting it and taking the necessary measurements to properly assess the space and technical constraints. We were thus able to see in more detail the means to be implemented so that on the big day everything would go smoothly, without the bride and groom having to worry about anything.
However, in order for them to visualise the planned installations and to project themselves in their wedding between France and Lebanon, we have made precise 3D simulations.

Made-to-measure outdoor oriental wedding

The technical visit carried out before the wedding allowed us to see if the project was feasible or not. Indeed, the bride and groom wanted to set up their dinner area in the U shape of the castle courtyard, which made the installation and access technically complex. In the end, the Cristal tent chosen by the bride and groom fitted within a few centimetres of the castle walls. The crystal roofs had to be stretched from inside the castle because the space was so tight.
A challenging set-up, but the result was worth it! The guests were able to enjoy an unobstructed view of this exceptional place throughout the evening, thanks to the curtains and transparent roofs of the crystal tent. For a chic and elegant look, we installed a beautiful wooden floor in the tent.
In front of the castle enclosure, on the other side of the dinner area, we installed small Pagoda tents to set up the space for the cocktail party.

A lighting scheme worthy of a wedding of a thousand and one nights

During the evening, the guests were immersed in a magical atmosphere thanks to the lighting we installed on the façade of the castle and around the Crystal tent.
The castle was covered in flamboyant colours: midnight blue, purple and pink, in harmony with the magnificent traditional Lebanese outfits. The play of lights brought out the Lebanese origins of both families, to the delight of all.
