For their wedding at Château de Vallery, the bride and groom opted for a celebration steeped in French elegance. Inspired by the refinement and charm of French culture, the wedding was orchestrated to offer a sophisticated and memorable experience... To recreate this ambiance, the Château de Vallery was the ideal venue.
Available to hire for weddings and other types of receptions, the historic Château de Vallery is located just over a hundred kilometers from Paris. A true Renaissance masterpiece, listed as a Monument Historique, Château de Vallery and its grounds provide an enchanting setting for an unforgettable wedding. Part of the house was designed by architect Pierre Lescot, who also designed a wing of the Louvre. The château boasts 4 large historic halls and 28 guest rooms. The château grounds extend over 5 hectares of parkland and 60 hectares of forest.

Château de Vallery is best known for its different rooms, each with its own distinct theme and atmosphere. For the first evening of their wedding, the bride and groom opted for an oriental theme, with couscous in the château's Pavillon oriental. The Oriental Pavilion is a magnificent reception hall set against the medieval ramparts, with exotic architecture and a Thousand and One Nights ambience. The rest of the stay followed the theme of French elegance, with a décor reminiscent of 19th-century French high society: medallion chairs, classic gilded tableware, chandeliers, toile de jouy, chic decor...

French wedding: furniture and refined tableware

For this wedding at Château de Vallery, Célia Athanase of Bonjour Weddings took the reins of organization and design for the weekend. She called on Atawa for furniture rental and tableware. In addition to the convivial rectangular and round tables, we supplied furniture from the romance range, perfectly suited to a chateau-themed wedding: side table, coffee table, two-seater sofa, armchair, ottoman... We also supplied caned Montaigne chairs for dinner. The bride walked down the aisle surrounded by white Montaigne chairs, upholstered with flowers from Botanique Bazar. We complemented this romantic, chateau-style furniture with vintage pieces: rugs, wicker picnic baskets, a folding buffet with moldings, candlesticks...

We also took care of the tableware for this wedding at Château de Vallery: dinner, picnic and cocktail. We used cutlery from different ranges, depending on the meal and the mood the bride and groom wanted to create: the Néo doré range, the Costa range and the Cutipol white and gold range. We also supplied the following objects to decorate the tables in a château atmosphere: tajine and Sarrazin salad bowl, Nologue goblets and water glasses, Louisiane fruit basket, green tourmaline goblets, Baroque photophore and glasses, white and gold vintage 3-tier server, green toile de Jouy tablecloth, Belle Epoque range glasses, glass candleholders and vintage gold candleholders.

The decor of this intimate wedding was designed to leave a lasting impression. Prestigious suppliers were on hand, the decorations were impressive, and the whole affair was capped off with a fireworks display. Because there were several reception areas, organizing this wedding presented a challenge for Atawa. We managed all the logistics of delivery, dispatching furniture and tableware to the different areas according to the day the products were to be used. Everything went perfectly, without a hitch, and both bride and groom and guests were delighted!
